| Ugh. Headache reaching epic proportions. Need to lay down without benefit of looking at computer screen. How about we write a scene that never happened, rather than rewriting something? Maybe... when Jor thinks that Wick is going out with Rabin? Total jealousy! Total hotness! They can even make out afterwards. |

| BOOOOOOOOOORED BLAH Here I am, stuck here at 4:40AM in the morning and playing Blade Runner because I have no other games on my laptop. Also, we're getting calls, and that's sort of lame, but I feel the need to post my first call of the day.
Residential DSL customer with no dialtone. Customer is extremely upset because her DSL service is not working and also because her computers have experienced some sort of intrusion or virus and she feels this is Verizon's fault. She is concerned that the intrusion may have happened through her phone lines or her hub or the antenna on the roof of her house and she wants it stopped. She also thinks it may be in the keyboard, because the keyboard is now displaying french characters. Customer has two Macs apparently connected via a hub to a single modem.
Conferenced in Berna from phone repair and made sure that she had already reported the telephone problem. Berna from phone repair confirmed that this was a cable problem and said the customer has already reported this. Attempted to explain basic networking to the customer but she is very angry and eventually disconnected. |

| Hey, you guys are smart and generally know things. So I kicked something solid really hard and now my toenail is oozing; is that bad? Is my toenail going to fall off? I miss writing here.. and writing in general. I am a lazy bastard and I have no clever ideas to write about. Moo. *sigh* |

| Oww! And it probably will, though that part won't hurt. Just keep an eye on it so it doesn't get infected, wear a bandaid when you've got shoes on and walk around barefoot with no covering on it when you're home, and it should heal up enough that it isn't too painful. Then the toenail might fall off. But it'll grow back. No big deal. And be more careful! |
