HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH.I've just had the most amusing Biology class. I'm about to go into the lab, but not for another hour. He gave us some extra time today. All of our notes he has on a website so we don't have to write them down and I write them down anyway because I just LOVE Biology.
It's actually really exceptionally cool, and the teacher almost makes up for my evil excuse for a teacher in Econ who picked a text who uses the bible for all of its text examples. Haha, my teacher asked if there was anyone in the class who didn't believe in evolution, and a few people raised there hands, and he sort of blinked like he wasn't too sure exactly what planet they came from, and then said something to the effect of, "Well, science is pretty hard to swallow if you don't believe in evolution, but after they get more information, most people eventually come around." I could have hugged him. I feel like I'm back in friendly territory and that's really cool.
Anyway, like I said, he gave us an hour, so I'm going to try to post, even though I'm in a strange place and it's cold and I'm awfully tired. It turns out my class was at 8:00 and not at 8:30 and I didn't get there until 9:00 because it was flooding and traffic was horrid and I had to take my mother to work. That was interesting. Went something like:
Mom (who does not drive and never has): "Why are we going this way? We should really go the other way. Look at all those cars! We'd better turn around. Did you see the water? I didn't know we were coming all the way out here. I thought you were going to go the other way or I would have said something. Are you sure this is the right way?"
Bec: *gnaws at her own arm to avoid screaming*
She has this hideous grimace she makes with her face that I truly hope I am incapable of where she pulls her lips back from her teeth and makes her neck muscles stand out all funky when she's trying to make me notice that she's nervous or upset, and she was doing that ALL THE FRIGGIN WAY and JESUS H. TAPDANCING CHRIST I want an apartment.
*takes a breath*
Anyway, back to posting, and then off to my lab. We're doing an experiment today! Woo! Oh! And Amy! I think your text is the one I need! Lemme see here....
"BIOLOGY - Fifth Edition, Campbell Reece Mitchell, maroon binding, black book."
Is that right? Lemme know so I don't open this $115 dollar book without reason.
