1. Wolf Quad Barracks - Cell B |
|
|
last updated at Mar 19, 2001 05:25 p.m. (2 times) After two excrutiating weeks of Earthside leave, Jor was more than willing to return to his normal state as a soldier. He'd managed to see his parents for all of three days during his "vacation," two and a half of which were spent listening to them argue endlessly over his disciplinary records, and how it put a blight onto the name of Windhaven in all their legal circles. Such bullshit. Hadn't he graduated from Battle School and made it here to Command, even in the Tactical Division? Jor shook his head as he walked quietly to his new quarters, sighing. The only redeeming moment of being back in Maui was the sun, and even that he couldn't stand for long, after so many years in space. He almost died with relief when they shooed him back into the shuttle, and shot him back out to this asteroid. He finally reached the destination listed on his transfer papers. Stalking into his quad barracks for the first time, Jor glanced around, surprised to find the room empty. His quadmates must be at practice; after all, his shuttle had arrived late. Finding the empty room with his name listed on the door, along with three others, he tentatively stepped inside, relishing the solitude. Nothing like the crowded barracks before... but still, it seemed to be missing something. Wick. He missed Wick. They'd been together almost two years now, two turbulent years. And the past few weeks without her had been torture as he'd found himself separated from her for the first time in all those months. Tossing his bag to the floor and rolling into his bunk, Jor settled in, folding his arms behind his head as he closed his eyes, trying to relax. In this new surrounding, he felt a twinge of loneliness for his spark. She should be coming to Command School, soon... and he'd have to be patient, no matter how much it bothered him to be apart from her... |

Wick entered the room silently, letting the door shut behind her. Jor was asleep, one arm on the pillow above his head, the other across his stomach. He looked older than she remembered him, his jawline stronger. Muscles stood out on his arms. She felt as if she hadn't seen him in years. The room was otherwise empty, she finally managed to note, and pulled her feet from where they rooted in the floor and slipped over to his bunk, kneeling beside him. His dark lashes lay on his cheeks, and his skin was darker. He must have had sun. That much sunlight on her would have burned her fair skin unmercifully, but he just soaked it up, made it part of himself. She crept back to the cell door and locked it. The other three Quad members could wait. She had business to attend to. Returning to his bedside, she silently unlaced her boots and slipped in next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. His shirt sleeves were short, and she ran a light fingertip over his arm scar before resting her hand low on his stomach and closing her eyes. At last, she felt at home. |

His eyelids fluttered open slowly as he felt someone slip into bed beside him, a head resting on his shoulder, a hand laid low on his stomach. Jor tensed instinctively, muscles tightening, but he caught his breath as he saw the little pale white fingers curled slightly against abdomen. Then it took only one glance at the short black hair that slipped silkily along his neck to know. Wick. He smiled then, exhaling softly as he rolled over in bed, until he faced her. Her eyes were closed, face still milky white, but her cheeks had the pale flush he knew meant she must still be awake. Running a hand along her jawline, Jor lifted her chin and kissed her on the lips, a gentle kiss that quickly roughened as he felt his lonely longing for her return. Oh, how he'd missed her... "Wick..." he whispered, quietly, wrapping his free arm around her waist and pulling her closer. |

At the sound of her name, Wick opened her eyes, looking up at Jor and smiling slightly into his green ones. The emerald in them seemed to shift as she curled her arm about his waist to pull herself more tightly against him and pressed her lips to his throat. The two weeks away had been more than enough time for the last of his marks to fade, and she relished the hissed intake of breath he made, the feeling of all his muscles tensing at once as she crafted a new one, just where his throat met his chest, left of center. His skin was smooth under his shirt, and she pushed him over onto his back, dragging the fingernails of both hands lightly across his chest as she finished her brand, kissing it delicately before she lay her head on his chest, between her hands, closing her eyes and treasuring his scent, his presence. |

Emitting a low, growling laugh that rumbled in his chest, Jor reached up to rub his throat ruefully, feeling Wick's mark of possession sore and familiar. He smirked, pushing her off him playfully until she rolled, trapped against the wall. Then with a pounce, he ran his hands up her shirtsleeves, fingers tracing along her bare skin as he buried his face into her neck, kissing with a gentle nip at her throat. His hands moved of their own accord as he unzipped her collar, one arm holding her in the small of her back as he ran his kisses down her collarbone. Jor could feel her heart beating faster, and with a grin he glanced up, poised above her with his eyes shining forest green. She smiled, and he moved to hold her down, straddling her legs as he fluttered his eyelashes playfully, mockingly. Jor tapped on her stomach idly, raising an eyebrow as he grinned. "Miss me?" |

The cool air and Jor's kisses against her throat made goosebumps rise on her skin, and bit the inside of her lower lip at his question to steady her voice before she answered him. "Not in the slightest," she said finally, but her voice cracked the tiniest bit on the last word and gave her away, and she blushed a pale pink. Eager to distract him from her embarrassment, she dropped her hands from his back, drawing little circles with one fingertip on his right thigh as her other hand remained under his shirt, the palm against his muscled abdomen, fingers spread, as if she were making a token attempt to hold him back. |

Glancing down at her hand where it pressed against his stomach, Jor reached into his pocket suddenly and pulled out a small object that he held tightly in his clenched fist. Breathing raggedly, he smiled a lopsided grin at Wick and pulled her hand from under his shirt, pressing the trinket into her palm and closing her fingers around it. "I, uh, got you a present at home..." His eyes flicked away with embarassed uncertainty, then he managed a quick smirk. Rolling off of her, he moved to sit on the edge of his bunk, facing away from her. Jor could hear her shifting on the bed beside him, but he continued to force himself to ignore her as he slowed his breathing, and tried to listen to her reaction above the nervous pounding of his heart. |

A present? He'd gotten her a present? She forced her fire down, took a deep silent breath or two and unfastened the tissue paper from the little parcel. A little silver box was nestled inside, and when she opened it she nearly quit breathing. A ring, fashioned of some sort of seashell or coral, was nestled in the box. The red and offwhite jagged striations that composed the shell material looked like swirls of pale flame, and all she could do was look at it for a moment before she finally reached in and lifted it out. She started to slip it onto her right ring finger and hesitated. Was there use in pretending? No one could ever own her, could ever belong to her like her match. With a slow deliberate motion, she slipped the little ring onto her left ring finger. It fit perfectly. She turned to him, facing his back. He was nervous, but she didn't care. Something mulled her fire, making it sweeter and softer than it had been before, but no less hot, and she slipped her hands under his arms, hugging him from behind, kissing the back of his neck. "It's perfect, match," she said, unable to think of what else to say. |

Restraining a sigh of relief, Jor's insides unknotted as Wick wrapped her arms around him and kissed his neck. He grinned then, twisting in her embrace until he could shove her back onto the bunk, wanting to reignite his fire before he burned out completely. Lifting her hand to his lips, he kissed the ring with an extravagant gesture, then threw her hand to the side. Unzipping her uniform, he rested his own hand then on her bare pale stomach, remembering the time he'd beaten her so badly her abdomen had streaked purple and blue. He smiled at her, leaning down to place a kiss right below her bellybutton. She squirmed slightly, but Jor whispered quietly, his breath hot against her skin. "Shhhhh...." His eyes flickered serpentine flame for a brief moment as he smirked, then he sat up, running his hands up her legs as he tilted his head, a curl falling into his eyes. "You did miss me, eh, Spark?" |

The devilish expression on his face as he kissed her, touched her legs, made her quiver inside, and she reached down and tangled both hands in his beautiful dark curls, pulling his head up to hers to kiss him deeply, biting gently at his lower lip as her hands tugged on his white undershirt, pulling it roughly up under his arms and finally over his head, breaking the kiss only long enough to clear the material. The shirt disposed of, she ran her hands over the muscles in his back, down his sides and against his hips, arching gently as she leaned up to leave kisses on his neck, his bare shoulder, and the top of his smooth arm scar. |

Feeling both the cool air of the barracks and Wick's kisses against his bare chest, Jor shivered, his muscles flexing, running lithely under his tanned skin. He reached around behind Wick with a languid calm, pushing her down to kiss her stomach again as he tugged on her own shirt, succeeding and throwing the clothing onto the floor beside him. Her eyes widened, and his pupils dilated unevenly at his own nerve, but Jor's want for Wick only flamed brighter in his gaze as she lay in front of him, her pale skin almost translucent. Even after two years together, he'd never pushed her so far, holding himself back in the fear that her anger would ignite and he'd lose her. And despite their mutual enjoyment of fighting, stretching one another's limits to the breaking point, he'd known their relationship was one thing he shouldn't force. But he couldn't stop. Jor ran his hands roughly along her sides, fingers locking into the spaces of her ribcage as he pulled her up to sitting, kissing her carelessly. His lips ran along her jaw, down her neck, pausing for a moment in the hollow that her collarbones made as they reached her slender throat. He smiled as he pressed his lips to her skin, marking her with his own possessive brand. |

Her shirt gone, she chilled more rapidly, and her world contracted to Jor's hot breath, the painful pleasure his lips worked upon her throat. She felt his hands settle on her abdomen, just below the white sports bra, and began to tense up. She'd missed him an incredible amount, wanted him in the worst way, but this was moving too quickly. The warmth of his stomach against hers, of his hands on her bare skin, was slowly driving her mad...but she didn't want to hurt him, not really...not today, after he'd given her the ring. So she began laying her own rough kisses, nipping at his smooth shoulder even as she began to struggle against his grip. |

She responded with her own rough kisses, and at this encouragement, Jor's longing ignited. He pressed hard against her, pinning her to the bed as he shifted closer, one hand sliding across her hot skin to her lower back, and his fingers scratched into her flesh. His lips moved over hers, bruising kisses as he bit not-so-gently at her throat. His lips moved further down as he slipped a finger under the bottom edge of her sports bra, trying to slide his hand inside as she fought back, beginning to struggle against him. He felt his own stubborn flame match her, and he kept her helpless, too absorbed in wanting her for a moment to notice her discomfort. "Spark...." he rumbled, voice low and husky as he kissed her again to stop her from replying. |

His kisses were smothering, his fingernails leaving fiery trails on the pale skin of her back. She writhed more violently, and he pinned her firmly beneath him. Her eyebrows dipped in a little frown as she realized she was immobile. "Spark," he growled softly, his voice gravelly with his desire, and kissed her deeply as he slipped his fingers under the elastic to touch the soft flesh under her bra. She made a sharp exclamation of breath into his mouth and her eyes snapped wide open. He had never dared anything like this before. The skin under his hand contracted as the rest of her body went absolutely rigid. She stopped breathing, even stopped struggling, every muscle in her body telling her to strike out at him, make him stop. |

As she tensed under him, Jor paused, catching his breath in his throat as her eyes flew open to meet his. He stared at her, unmoving, his fingers still spread across her flesh as his heart pounded wildly. His eyes flashed serpentine green, almost indetectable in lust as he felt her bare abdomen meeting his. But he could sense her fear, her pulse rapid under his hands as he watched her carefully. Lowering his head, he kissed her gently on the chin, voice a growl of restrained longing. He wanted her... but he couldn't force her. "Spark... I won't hurt you... I just..." he faltered, kissing the bruises he'd given her with a tenderness he needed her to know. He wasn't going to push her, unless she gave herself willingly. So with a final brush of his lips against her throat, Jor let her go, grabbing his shirt and pulling it over his head with a swift grace that belied his internal struggle. Picking up her own shirt from the floor, he handed it to her, averting his eyes from her bewilderingly angry gaze. |

She took her shirt wordlessly, slipping into and zipping and snapping her collar with the ease of years of practice. Why was she so angry at him? Because he wanted her? She wanted him too. That wasn't the reason. Maybe she wasn't angry at him... She looked at his profile, deep jade eyes avoiding her gaze, and then down at the hands in her lap. The ring he'd given her was still where she'd left it. She'd acknowledged that she held no illusions between her and her match; they were made for each other. What she kept fighting had to happen, she knew. What if he got tired of waiting? Wick knew a moment of unique uncertainty. "Jor..." she began, and stopped. His eyes were arresting, the desire and frustration in them almost more than she could bear. She remembered the feel of his hands and lips on her skin and blushed. He seemed to know so much more than she, and that made her angry...but she couldn't seem to strike out at him, not when he was looking at her like that. "I missed you," she said finally. |

Jor gave her his eyes, meeting her gaze with a steel calm on his face that he certainly didn't feel. But her bewilderment was his own, and with a sigh, he shifted and wrapped his arms around her, hugging her close. "Miss you too, my spark," he breathed into her ear, closing his eyes as he held her. Then he noticed the ring he'd given her, it's pale flaming shell band twisted around her finger... her ring finger, on her left hand. His intake of breath was almost undetectable as his green eyes widened, softening to a muted forest as he pulled away. Taking her hands in his, he kissed her fingertips before dropping them into her lap again. With a lopsided smile, he cleared his throat. "You want to explore with me? I don't have anywhere to go, my quadmates are at practice... c'mon, let's go take a look around." He pushed himself up from the bunk, grabbed her hand. "You might want your boots back on, too," he said with a wink. "Hurry now, Wick, let's play..." |

Wick grinned at him and poked him in the side with two stiffened fingers as she ducked away, grabbing her boots and dropping onto the edge of his bunk to put them on. "I've already seen a lot of it, wandering around looking for you," she said with a smirk that informed him he could just as easily have gone looking for her. "But not up close." She finished lacing her boots and jumped to her feet, catching onto his neck as she passed and whirling herself tightly against him, kissing him deeply and touching her tongue to his before pulling back. "You're slow today, aren't you?" she teased and dodged past him, headed for the hallway. |

"I'm slow?" Jor reached out to grab for Wick, but she dodged away into the main commons of his Quad. Chasing after her, he snatched the back of her uniform as she was near the door leading to the hallway, and pulling her back, he spun her around. "C'mere you..." He caught her face in both his hands, holding her as he kissed her savagely, his teeth biting into her lower lip. Then with a smirk, he drew away, raising an eyebrow at the faint edge of a bruise he could see emerging from her collar. "Cover that up before we step out, sweetheart." |

With an absent gesture that had become second-nature to her in the near two years that she had known Jor, she brushed her collar back into place, smiled at her match and slipped out into the Quad hallways. |

With a smile still on his lips, Jor slipped into his quad barracks, expecting emptiness and solitude. He found someone inside. She was facing away from him, two long blond braids pinned at the nape of her neck. A little uncertain, Jor coughed, and she turned slowly to face him. Amber eyes met his forest green ones, and the smile faded from his face as she looked him up and down appraisingly. His own gaze turned serpentine as he stared right back, jaw clenched tightly as his eyes narrowed in silent calculation. Who was this? He judged her to be about his own age, tall and shapely, and as she moved lithely toward him, the muscles on the back of his shoulders tensed. His thoughts flitted briefly toward Wick, and his features hardened impercetably as he stood his ground, ignoring the curl that fell across his face as he tilted his head, watching her. |

Bianca looked Jor over once more as she got closer, just to make sure she hadn't missed anything. This was supposed to be a new graduate from battleschool, but he looked at least her own age, seventeen. His file said he was just barely sixteen. Thick black curls covered his head, one sliding into his eyes as he stood there. He was muscular, even for a battleschool student, and there was grace there, none of the normal gawkishness that most of the younger boys displayed. When she finally dragged her eyes from his body to his face, she half-melted. Dark green eyes with long dark lashes looked at her half-defiantly. Was it her imagination, or did his jaw tense. "Jor, isn't it?" she said finally, once her slow perusal was finished. "I'm Bianca, your new commander. I expected you to remain in your barracks until I'd had a chance to interview you personally...but since this is your first day, I suppose I can overlook it." She gave him a half-forgiving, half-playful smile and reached up to brush the stray lock of hair from his forehead. His eyes narrowed just a little and she smiled wider. Challenges for her were so rare these days, and usually she had her boys eating out of her hand within the week. This boy wouldn't be any different, she was sure...but for now, he seemed enticingly reluctant. |

The way her gaze slid over him did not escape Jor's notice, and his eyes narrowed as she reached a hand up, brushing away the curl that had fallen across his forehead. Forcing himself to remain at attention, he tensed, his muscles straining as he fought the urge to push her away, even as he wanted to move closer. No. He told himself sternly. You have Wick. You love Wick. This is just some flirt trying to catch you off-guard... She smiled playfully at him, but he only stared back, locking his gaze on the far wall, avoiding her. "Yes sir, Jordan Windhaven. Nice to meet you, Commander Bianca." Smartest thing to do was to play the perfect soldier. Maybe, just maybe, she'd leave him alone. Once quick glance into her eyes proved him otherwise. It wasn't bloody likely he'd find peace. |

Bianca nodded and smiled. "Nice to meet you too, Jor. Follow me. We have some things to attend to in my quarters. Rules and regulations," she said with a smirk as she caught his nearly shocked look. "Won't you come with me?" She brushed past him and left, close enough that the backs of her fingertips on her left hand brushed his thigh on her way past. |

"Yes sir," Jor managed between clenched teeth, his thigh tensing as her fingertips brushing against his leg. Now she wanted him to follow her into her private quarters. His breathing became more shallow, quickening in irritation and defiance. Pausing a moment, he gathered himself and followed after her, stalking silently in her footsteps. |

With his eyes trained on the floor, his bootlaces snapping as he stalked into the barracks, Jor didn't notice her presence until she hissed quietly, an intake of breath that caused him to freeze. He glanced up, startled, his green eyes snapping back to ice as he straightened, absently aware of his rumpled uniform, his tousled hair, the frustration evident in his gaze. Bianca was the last person he wanted to see right now. Steeling himself for the inevitable barrage of questioning, Jor set his features resolutely and gave her measure for measure. |

Rhemi paused just outside the door to Wolf and listened, then placed his fingers lightly to the cool surface, closed his eyes as they shifted from green, to an icy pale blue. The voices came, like they always did, soft.. gentle like the carress of a mistress and almost as alluring. "two people.. Male and female.. The male is exc- frustrated, and the female.. she feels weird.. i'll need to touch her aga- wait.." It was wrong. And he knew it was wrong, it was the same behavior that almost got him kicked out of school. Rejected again. And here he was, lying to himself that it was simply a precaution. His hand neared the door and he fought the urge to palm it again, to learn more about what was comming, but he turned his palm to fist, and knocked lightly, his eyes shifting emerald, the voices quieting for a bit. For now. His bag never left his shoulder. |

She wasn't prepared for Jor's tousled appearance. He looked like he'd seen combat. His clothing was in all manner of disarray, his boots unlaced, his hair tousled...and if she wasn't mistaken, there was at least one bruise ripening on his throat visible beneath his loose collar. The volatile, frustrated look in his eyes was exactly what she wanted to see. She hadn't been expecting him back anytime soon after he'd left so quickly. Her last replacement hadn't yet shown up, and she wanted to be there to meet that one at least...but here was Jor, looking like he could use some of her attention. It wouldn't hurt until the new - The knock at the door cooled her thoughts and she looked him over in a cursory manner. "You represent Wolf now, soldier," she said evenly. "You will present a neat and tidy appearance when you leave this barracks. Is that understood?" She gave him a calculated frown, and then stepped past him, her hair brushing against his arm as she moved to the door and waved it open. Her last new recruit was there, looking a little hesitant. He was about 5'7, just a little shorter than her, and had a slender wiry build. He appeared to be some sort of amerindian descent, his hair dark brown and very short. "Hello, soldier. I am Bianca, your Quad Commander." She studied him carefully, then turned back to Jor. "I'll leave you two to get acquainted. You'd better keep your uniform in better repair from now on, Jor. Remember our discussion." She nodded once to the boy - Rhemora, his filed had said, and left. |

Perfect. Just perfect. Three steps back into his quad barracks, only a few hours after he'd arrived, and already his commander was reprimanding him. Even the look in her amber eyes did nothing to appease his frustration and anger. Jor felt cheated. With his heart on display, he'd been turned away from Wick. And so Jor straightened, his shoulders falling back into precise military stance as he murmured a quiet "Yessir," watching Bianca saunter from the room with guilty interest in his eyes. Bianca. Wick. Damnit, he was bewildered. With a curt nod at the newcomer, Jor pulled his rumpled shirt over his head, muscles flexing across his back as he ran a hand through his tousled curls, pushing them away from his face. Wick's possessive brands were starkly evident, even against the dark tan of his throat, but he ignored the curious glance of his quadmate and stalked into his room. A few deft movements and his boots were relaced, a fresh shirt fastened securely around him, uniform straight. One less thing for Bianca to harangue him about now. Jor stretched, sliding gracefully into his bunk. Laying on his back, staring at the ceiling, his eyes slowly closed, his breathing slowing until he finally relaxed enough to think coherently. He was beyond confused... after two years together, he'd figured Wick would be ready to at least admit she loved him. Albeit, they had been two rather turbulent years, full of arguing and fighting, and more than once he'd lost his control and hurt her. But they could never stay away from one another for long, and bitter enraged words were quickly forgotten the moment they saw eachother again. Was this time any different. Deep down, for the first time, Jor didn't know. |

last updated at Mar 24, 2001 09:26 a.m. (1 times) Rhemi eyes followed his commander as she went by, then returned to the tussled soldier in a bunk.. HE shrugged and proceed in. "Hi there, any bunk at all?" he asked moving slowly about the bunks as if waiting for the used bunks dealer to feed him a line. Hearing none, He settled into the one nearest the door and glanced about.. bored. "What happened to you boyo?" |

Jor started slightly at the interruption, his eyes opening and narrowing slightly at the other boy. "Ho," he responded shortly, his voice a little husky. "Nothin' happened." No peace here, evidently. With a sigh, Jor rolled from his bunk, smoothing the wrinkles from his uniform as he stood. Managing a half-smile of welcome at his quadmate, he turned and stalked silently from the room. Maybe he'd go play a few games, take his mind off of what had happened with Wick. |

"That went well," Rhemi remarked as the door slid home. Frustration, anger, confusion Rhemi's eyes flicked green and closed slowly as the voice continued. Obviously disturbed by some encounter. Not a very good liar, and there's more, but he'd know "and heaven forbid we give him reason to be *more* confused than he already is." he continued. "Everyplace is just like home" and he drifted off into a nice short nap. |

The blow blue glow persisted until Rhemi's eyes opened, focused, and shifted blue. A rapid pattern of blinking flashed across his awareness, twice, and he sat up, blinking hard and fighting off the stabbing behind his eyes- but the voice remained. [i] "Youve still got a job to do, soldier.."/[i] The voice drew away.. as did the blue glow from his eyes, leaving them their vivid green. The he rose, retrieved a small flat pad and a small case and proceeded into the hall after checking thoughts ahead of the way. [i] We sense nothing /[i] |

Rhemi passed quietly through the doorway, and after scanning the room, returned his gear to its place. He then reclined onto his bunk, and read through some manuals on his padd. |

Some people just don't know how to grow up... Jor closed his eyes, just briefly, at Bianca's words. He'd grown, he knew for certain. After their entire scheme had gone to plan, Dante and Swede beaten, his revenge against Nathan complete as the boy was iced, Jor had changed. More cautious, not to hot-headed and impatient as before... more wary, more analytical and calculating. Oh, he'd certainly changed. The only question was: Had Wick? Was she that much different from before? She still had the same fire, the same flame which had drawn him to her in the first place, the angry spirit he knew he could never control, never wanted to completely control. But maybe that same spirit kept her from changing... and he loved her. He didn't know anymore if she could ever love him. A short, sad smile passed over his lips as he looked toward Bianca, and with silent passivity he let her lead him into her quarters. |

The broken, forbidding look on Jor's face as he stalked into his quad barracks was more than enough to keep the others from asking him what was wrong. His cheek was reddened from Wick's slap, his neck bruised, his uniform collar half-open as he rushed toward his room, locking the door savagely behind him as he climbed into his bunk. Jor buried his face in the pillow just in time to stop the few bitter tears that leaked from his closed lids. Unable to fully comprehend what had happened, his mind blurred and his skin still flushed from Wick's touch, Jor sighed and tried to fall asleep. The merciful darkness came sooner than he'd expected, and his muscles relaxed as he finally drifted off, still thinking of Wick. |

Rhemi stared down across the sleepign form that was Jor and a frown crept quietly over his features. This isnt really their fight, especially if they dont know who the enemy is.. Sighing quietly he slipped back into the space across from the bunks and moved toward his own, stretched quietly, and knelt into his bag to sort ame equiptment and assemble a small transmitter. His first of several communications shortly followed- "First stage complete, awaiting further instruction". |

Bianca made a single pre-emptory knock before she entered. Jor was asleep in his bunk. She relaxed a little. She'd probably just scared him off. He'd come around in due course. For now she was focused on his cellmate. "Rhemora, right? Let's go. I need to speak with you before we hit the simulators tomorrow afternoon for practice." She kept her voice low enough to keep from disturbing Jor and gestured with a nod of her head that he was to leave. He was putting something away into his duffle when she walked in, but she took little notice of it. Probably a musicshell. Lots of kids snuck those in. She didn't care, as long as they kept up their studies. That made her look good, and she liked to look good. |

Rhemi nodded once and stood to follow the commander. His eyes flicked rapidly and he paused for just a second then proceeded a little easier. Follow her through her routine, we have adjusted for your time in the simulator tomorrow and you will be taken care of. Your records have been transferred to battleschool, and thusly here. You should have no problems completing the rest of your objective. out. The messages were comming easier, and faster now. |

Morris slipped quietly into the barracks, noted the sleeping soldier and knelt quietly at Rhemi's belongings, leaving his eyes on Jor. He replaced the boys equiptment with some items from his own case, and departed as quickly as he'd come. |

His dreams hadn't been entirely too pleasant, reflecting the turmoil over Wick that he was feeling, and it was only relief that Jor felt as he awoke, unable to remember his nightmares yet still disturbed. Damnit. He hated every second of this wavering unnerved feeling he was possessed with, this uncertainty Wick's sudden coldness had left him with. Rolling from his bunk with a groan, Jor rubbed his eyes and ran his fingers through his tousled curls. His head spun with confusion over where to go next. He wanted to see Wick. He missed her terribly, was absolutely terrified that she might not want to see him too. Unwilling to seek her out himself and discover whether or not she still wanted to be with him, Jor turned and set his steps toward the library. It was quiet there, peaceful, and at least he could think without worrying if Bianca was about to bounce in. Palming open the door, Jor left with a weary sigh. |

Wick pulled him sharply into his empty cell, ignoring the rest of the barracks as she locked the door with a slap and turned to smile at him. Jor's eyes narrowed slightly in anticipation and confusion; after her sudden apology and aggressiveness, his shock had allowed her to drag him here. Now what? Dropping her hand, he crossed his arms over his chest with smirk and waited. |

Wick crouched and pounced on Jor, knocking him back onto his bunk, their heads missing the top bunk by millimeters. She came down on him hard, impatient hands not bothering trying to unzip his uniform as they dropped to his belt, unfastening and yanking it out of the way as she bit his neck almost hard enough to draw blood. The belt gone, she licked the welt she'd just made and kissed him madly as she unfastened his lower clothing, pushing it down his legs impatiently. This done, she slid one hand back up and over the top of his thigh while she began to remove her own clothing with the other, meeting his shocked gaze with her own steady hunger as her fingers tensed slightly. |

Jor suddenly found himself thrown into his bunk, Wick tearing off his lower uniform with a fierceness in her eyes he'd never seen before. His clothing removed, she began to undo her own, and Jor suddenly found himself growling as he smiled with predatory anticipation at her. Slapping her hands aside, he yanked roughly at her shirt, discarding it quickly in favor of her belt. That too found itself on the floor, and she stood, her pants dropping to her ankles. Tilting his head and rubbing the welt she'd bit on his neck, Jor watched her silently, lust in his serpentine eyes as she began to advance on him. |

Wick stepped out of her clothing and slid into Jor's bunk beside him, nipping at his chest and then his stomach before planting an excrutiatingly delicate kiss on the top of his thigh. His eyes widened almost comically, and she crawled up to kiss him with a smirk on her lips. She stayed there for a moment, resting against his stomach, her cheek against his collarbone, all her bravado leaving her for a moment as she tensed, trying to brace against the pain she knew there would be. When she raised her head to look down at him again, there was no trace of mocking hilarity. She stroked his cheek, ran her eyes over his face, and kissed him gently and deeply. Against her most strenuous wishes, she began to tremble as she moved slowly downward, her kiss becoming uncoordinated as her breathing became uneven. |

Trembling in synchronization with Wick as she slid down against his hips, Jor tried to continue his kiss, finding both of them shaky. With a gasp he wrapped his arms around her waist, buried his face into her neck and bit his lip. She continued to move, and he found himself shifting with her, his blood coursing faster as she closed her eyes and breathed raggedly, her breath skipping across his bare skin. Jor locked his fingers into her ribs, hands, muscles tensing in rhythm with hers. She opened her eyes to gaze at him, the glacier ice of hers melting, his forest green ones dark and absorbing as he found himself unable to draw air, unable to think, only able to stare at her almost uncomprehending. |

The pain came, as she'd known it would, but she closed her eyes against it and moved against him anyway. As before, the pain began to lessen, but much more rapidly, and as she opened her eyes to look into his, a small tingle of warmth touched her. Jor's eyes, half closed with pleasure, stayed fastened on her own as her body began to untense of its own accord. A new kind of tension began to build, and her eyes fell slowly shut again as instinct took over. His hands were warm on her back, and she heard his startled gasp as she shivered against him at last. Her muscles suddenly felt shaky and weak, and she lay her head on his chest again and tried to breathe. |

His back arched as Jor felt Wick shiver and fall against him, the hot skin of her torso pressed against his chest, and she lay her head on his shoulder, struggling to breath. He exhaled with a gasp, pulling her tight against him as they sat twined together, and Jor leaned his head down to breath a whisper of air against her cheek. Wick smiled slightly, and satisfied by her reaction, Jor closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the wall with a gentle thump. "Wick, we... should get going, soon." He murmured reluctantly, his fingertips tracing idle circles and patterns along the bare skin of her back. She shifted and his voice rumbled low, deeply in throat as he growled happily at her. "Mmmm, spark?" |

As she caught her breath, she gave him a tiny smile when he breathed on her cheek. She felt energized and impossibly weak at the same time. She didn't want to move. "Wick, we... should get going, soon. Mmmm, spark?" he said, his fingertips running over her back and making her tingle. She brought her head up then, to look at his face. He was slightly flushed...but nothing like he had been the last time, from what she could remember. She felt a little irritated. How had he learned to cope so quickly? Then he smiled, and she melted. Gently disengaging, she curled in Jor's lap more comfortably, admiring the contrast of her pale skin against his dark tan. "You want to go somewhere, Jor-dan?" she teased quietly. "Am I boring you?" |

Jor growled and nipped at her neck, rolling her over in bed until he kneeled over her, a smirk on his lips but a smile in his green eyes. "You, bore me? I don't think so..." He leaned down and kiss her, poking her playfully in the side, and then sliding from the bunk to reach for his uniform. "I'd stay all day if I could, love, but we wouldn't want my quadmates to find us... especially when you're looking so beautiful there..." He grinned again, softer this time, and impulsively turned to kiss her stomach before standing to pull his pants back on. "We can continue this soon, I promise, my Spark. C'mon now, I'm hungry." |
